In a lovely partnering with Trinitarian Bible Society from London, our mission had another one evangelistic action by Romanian Words of Life Calendars distribution between November 2007 – January 2008.

In our country, we knew some people who became Christians because of these calendars. They were in a serious troubles and someone gave them a calendar like this for free. They read the biblical verse on it and through this wonderful way God touched their hearts to accept Jesus Christ in their lives as personal Saviour. Praise the Lord.

We would like to have experiences like this in our evangelistic efforts by Romanian Words of Life distribution. We received 800 calendars from our partners in this work – TBS – and we can tell you that we aldreay distributed all for free in different places, such us: different people, children, young man, widows, orphans, public places, schools, hospital, different churches, pastors, lawyer office, villages.

We pray this work to be a blessing of God for all people who received a calendar. We also thank TBS because there are kind with us and every year sent these calendars for distrubution in our evangelistic efforts here in Romania.

We praise God for another one possibility to share practically our Lord’s love to all people who are in a suffering condition in hospital. We pray that our efforts to be a good testimony of true faith and a lot of people accept our Lord Jesus Christ in their lives as Saviour.

On 30 December 2007, we have visited a hospital in Botosani together with our partners from England – Sue & Terry Wright, leaders of Kids in Romania Foundation London. Some children hospitalized there received besides sweets, fruits and a special Christmas gift from The Samaritan’s Purse, a good news about our Lord Jesus Christ.

In that hospital, there is a wing where aids people are hospitalized for their usual treatment. We were honoured to share practically what means a true faith in Jesus and we had a wonderful response from them. They are in a suffering situation, and we were so happy because God helped us to bring some happiness in their lives for a few minutes.

Each time when we opened a door, the hospitalized children from there enjoyed when they saw us with a special Christmas gifts for them and also they were so perplexed that some strange people who never met before gave them that gifts for free, we have a word in Romania “in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ”. Wonderful, isn’t it?

We thank God because we have no problem to visit them and all medical personnel’s was so opened and kind with us that day. We don’t know what could happen in the future when we would like to go there again to share our Lord Jesus Christ good news to all people who will be hospitalized there.

We would like to receive help from you by prayer. We need a lot of prayers for this work. We already know there is an enemy who doesn’t like people know Jesus Christ: exactly, is Satan. He could be against that work but our God is highest than he has. So, we need your prayers, a lot of prayers. Jesus already won the victory on the Calvary cross but we would like to real experiences about this in our work.

All children from our mission children club had a full schedule at the end of the year. They were involved in some different actions and all people who heard their Christmas carols was delighted about song’s message.

We could tell you a fantastic news: over 200 people heard about our Lord Jesus Christ and His Salvation that time. In three different days, they singing special Christmas carols in different places and all the time they were so excited because God used them in this wonderful and fantastic ministry.

A special and exciting moment was when we visited the major of Vladeni at his house in Botosani. He is the number one in their village and could you realize what happiness and joy they felt when he received all of them in his house in Botosani? His family was at home with him and they was so delighted all Christmas songs.

We visited different people in all these actions: Christians, widows, old people, teachers, different families, friends, some authorities, suffering children, …

A new special moment they had in Botosani at our mission president apartment. After some different Christmas songs, our mission president decided to call in England at our partners for a special Christmas carol for them. They were not at home that time but we could leave a Christmas carol on telephone machine. After five days, when they visited us in Vladeni we found that next day they heard that song and was so excited for them.

 They had a hard and full schedule on Christmas and New Year Church Service but we praise Lord because He used all of them in a special ministry this time. A lot of people enjoyed of their work and they were a blessing of God for our church and ministry that time. We thank God for this wonderful ministry done to His glory in Romania.

We praise God because for another possibility to bring our Lord’s good news to the children from three different schools this year. Every year, The Samaritan’s Purse via “ECCE HOMO” Foundation from Cluj Napoca Romania gave us a wonderful privilege to distribute some Christmas shoe boxes in schools on Christmas.  

Besides the Christmas gifts distributed by a special program called “Christmas Child”, all children could heard about our Lord Jesus Christ and His salvation. We already had some children in our bible correspondence courses because of this work in schools. We should like to have more and we pray and wait our Lord’s response in their lives.

We thank God for this opportunity and also to “ECCE HOMO” Foundation who offered us every year since 1998 all these Christmas gifts and brochures for this project.
